In our division, 34 schools currently have no National Board Certified Teachers (NBCTs), missing a critical opportunity to elevate student learning and teacher leadership. This fast-paced session will unpack the transformative impact of NBCTs on school culture and student achievement. Administrators and instructional leaders will learn about the process, review VBCPS supports, and gain actionable strategies to identify potential candidates to build a school culture that attracts and supports accomplished teaching.
